Complete Your Evening with a Luxury Limousine
If you’re looking for something different to do for a girl’s night or if you want to add a hint of culture to an upcoming date night, you could always head to the Hippodrome Theatre in Baltimore. This stunning work of architectural genius harkens back to the early 1900’s when it was originally built. The legendary theatre originally opened back in 1914 as a venue for some of the most popular vaudeville shows of that time. After an immaculate renovation, it reopened in 2004 as The France-Merrick Performing Arts Center as a venue for entertainment of all types.
We’re going to highlight some of the upcoming shows at this popular spot for date nights, anniversaries, and other special occasions. We’ll also tell you how you can add a VIP touch to your night out at the Hippodrome Theatre with a chauffeured Baltimore car service from ZBest.
The 27th annual Best of Baltimore Party, hosted by Baltimore magazine, will be held on August 6th at the Hippodrome Theatre. Guests will be treated to live music and magic as well as phenomenal food provided by some of the best restaurants in Charm City. You can also enjoy some custom hand crafted cocktails, a specialty beer lounge, and a few sweet treats as well. While everyone may have a blast, there is also a good cause behind the party as The Family Tree will benefit by receiving a portion of the proceeds. This Maryland organization has made it their goal to provide families with ways to prevent child abuse and neglect.
While he may not be as visible in the country music industry as of late, Lyle Lovett has actually enjoyed quite a bit of success over the past few decades. In addition to 14 albums, he’s also made appearances in 13 different films, on stage, and on TV. He’s collected four Grammys, the Trailblazer Award from the Americana Music Association, and is also now considered to be the Texas State Musician. These are just a few of the reasons why you should head to the Hippodrome on August 11th for a show to enjoy Lyle Lovett & His Large Band’s eclectic mix of country, swing, jazz, gospel, and blues.
For the veteran in your life, a night out on September 26th brings The Patriot Tour with Marcus Luttrell. Best known for his book, Lone Survivor, Marcus Luttrell will speak about his inspiration behind the book while also presenting a few different special guests and entertainers. If you’re proud of your country and want to support the men and women that have served our country, this is an excellent event to attend.
The first broadway-type show to hit the Hippodrome this season is the phenomenally quirky Kinky Boots. With music by Grammy and Tony award winning 80s icon Cyndi Lauper, this show is actually based on the true story of a young man that takes his family’s shoe business in a whole different direction. Exciting and entertaining, this show runs from September 29th to October 4th, so be sure to grab your tickets while you still can!
While a night out on the town and at the theatre alone may feel like a special event, you can always improve upon it by reserving a Baltimore car service for the evening. Whether you’re hoping to impress a first date or showing your long time love just how much they mean to you, arriving to pick them up in the back of a luxurious limousine adds that extra special touch. A professionally chauffeured limousine like the stretch Chrysler 300 or an extended VIP SUV like the Cadillac ESV Platinum Edition just gives your night out at the theatre that VIP feel that you won’t soon forget.
Your next night out at the Hippodrome in Baltimore can always be improved upon. With so many great shows coming up, it’s just a matter of picking the one that interests you most. Once you’ve purchased your tickets for the show, call us at ZBest to let us show you how a chauffeured car service for the night can tie everything together for a night to remember!
